Treatments available:
Before your treatment
Before the treatment we will conduct a complete medical consultation in order to be sure that there are no reasons for which the treatment may not be carried out. This also provides us with the opportunity to assess your appearance, the condition of your skin, pattern of muscle contractions during facial expressions and discuss your expectations from the treatment. We also discuss and clarify not only the potential costs of treatment but also the different methods of payment acceptable.

Prior to your treatment any make-up that you are wearing in the areas to be treated will have to be removed and your hair will be fastened back with a headband.
For the injectable treatments, where the effects are intended to be long-lasting and not immediately reversible we will take several 'before' photos. This is essential since it provides an accurate account of your appearance before treatment and it allows us to make a better assessment of the effects of treatment at the review appointment. These pictures are treated with the same degree of confidentiality as any medical record and will never be disclosed to any other party without your explicit consent.
Anaesthetic cream will then be applied to the treatment areas to ensure your comfort. We use the finest grade needles available and will change these constantly throughout the treatment as this has also been shown to increase your comfort.
The injection process takes 10-15 minutes and is slightly uncomfortable. Afterwards there will be some tiny marks in the injection points which will fade over the next hour.
After Treatment
Depending on the nature of treatment that you have elected to undertake, we will ensure that you are aware of and happy with any aftercare advice which will ensure that you reap the maximum benefit with minimum side-effects (i.e. any potential bruising, sun exposure, dehydration etc) The advice will be tailored and specific to whatever treatments that you have undergone.
We will ensure that you have our contact details should you have any concerns or questions following your treatments and we would expect you to feel comfortable in calling us if the need arises prior to your review appointment.
If you have undergone treatment with Botox ®, Dysport ® or Vistabel ® ,the effect of the toxin builds up gradually and reaches its peak after 1-2 weeks. The muscle will be relaxed and so will be less able to contract and fold the overlying skin. (this effect lasts for several months)
During treatment we tend to be conservative about the amount of product used, since we will have the opportunity to 'top up' at the follow-up if required. (this is done at no extra cost but is included in the original price). We adopt this approach because the treatment effects are long lasting and only time will lessen the results.
If you have undergone treatment with dermal fillers such as Hydrafill® , the result is immediate. There will be some swelling and probably some bruising which will settle over the next few days.
Follow Up Appointment
Many of our treatments (particularly those that are injectable) require follow up. We will make a review appointment for you to come back approximately 2 weeks after your treatment.
This enables us to assess the effect of the treatment and make any minor adjustments where required. We will also take “after” photos. These allow us to accurately assess the results by comparing them with the “before” photos. As the changes happen so gradually and subtly over the two weeks it is easy to forget what your appearance was like before treatment!
We will also ask you for your feedback, considering not only the outcome but also any comments or recommendations you would like to make on the whole experience. This allows us to constantly monitor and improve the service that we provide when required. We also look forward to hearing of any new treatments that you would like us to provide for you.
