At Temple Aesthetics Ltd we offer the following rejuvenation treatments using Naturalux Intense Pulsed Light treatments. All treatments are performed by experienced and qualified professionals.

Your treatment

• A full consultation will be given by a medical practitioner to assess that there are no contraindications to your treatment.
• Consent will be required prior to treatment.
• Any facial, body creams or deodorant make up will be removed.
• A test patch can be offered for £25.00 to assess an area before treatment and then be redeemed against your first session.
• Treatment after care procedures will be advised
• It may take between 3-6 treatments to get your desired outcome.
  

Permanent Hair Reduction

Hair free and smooth skin need not be a daily hassle. Naturalux IPL delivers safe bursts of light which are absorbed by the melanin in your hair, destroying the follicle from the root .As a result of the unique frozen head technology the treatment is pain free. The results are long lasting, effective, quick and clinically safe. The procedure may need to be repeated depending on the exact position of every individual hair follicle during its natural cycle (hair follicles undergo regular turnover periods, which means the hair can be undergoing active growing, rest or shedding. The hair follicles are only responsive to IPL during the growing phase) We recommend that treatments are not repeated more frequently than 4-6 weekly.

Rosacea

Naturalux IPL offers excellent results in the treatment of rosacea and sun damaged skin to give an even and fresh skin tone. Carefully controlled pulses of light target the surrounding affected areas which are easily absorbed by the haemoglobin in the red blood cells. This then damages the wall of the blood vessels allowing the body’s own natural defence to remove this tissue resulting in a reduction in the unevenness of skin colour. This clinically proven method shows results after a few sessions.

Photo Rejuvenation

Using carefully controlled pulses of light, at the optimum wavelength fine lines, wrinkles and ageing spots are reduced whilst boosting the production of collagen and elastin to create youthful, fresh and smoother looking skin. Naturalux IPL’s advanced non-invasive beauty treatment can remove up to 10 years from your appearance in just five sessions.

Contraindications

• Clients should avoid tanning one month before or during the entire treatment.(this includes sunless tanning such as spray and rub on)
• Discontinue use of exfoliating creams 2 weeks prior to treatment
• Although you may shave before and in between treatments, we advise avoidance of other methods of hair removal such as waxing, plucking or depilatory creams.
• Treatment should be avoided on skin prone to infection e.g. herpes unless a prophylactic course is being undertaken at the same time
• As a precaution, treatment should be avoided if pregnant, breast-feeding or epileptic

After care advice

• Immediately after treatment the skin is extremely sensitive to UVA and UVB light there fore excessive sun exposure should be avoided for up to 5 days post treatment. If exposed to sunlight, a sunscreen with a high SPF should be used
• Avoid aggressive scrubbing or exfoliants in the bath and shower
• Avoid shaving, waxing, swimming or hot tubs for 48 hours after treatment

Side effects

• The visible light is completely safe so no special precautions are necessary apart from special light filtering glasses or goggles which are used throughout any treatment.
• The skin of some clients can become red immediately after treatment and very rarely a minor sunburn-like sensation or small blisters can occur , however, most clients experience no side effects at all.
• Any side effects listed above usually disappear within hours or 72 hours.
• Unlike electrolysis the Naturalux IPL treatment is non-invasive.
