VISIA

VISIA ® COMPLEXION ANALYSIS -  what lies beneath…?

visia-logo-blue

At Temple Aesthetics Aberdeen, we believe that in order to make informed decisions about your skincare, you need to have a clear picture of the condition of your skin. We are the only clinic north of Edinburgh that uses the VISIA® Complexion Analysis System.. The VISIA is a self-contained unit that takes photos of the face, examining the complexion for wrinkles, spots, pores, variation in the skin tone, evidence of bacteria in pores, and  sun damage. It then provides an easily understandable printed report.

Screens-3x1

By objectively establishing skin condition, VISIA’s comprehensive measurement of your standard and UV photos makes it very easy for you to see and understand exactly what is being discussed regarding skin renewal treatment options.

UV-Comparison-3x1

Based on the complexion profile, your facial rejuvenation program can also include optimised recommendations for ongoing skin care health, with VISIA imaging as an invaluable aid in monitoring complexion vitality and checking effectiveness of your skin care regimen over time.

How doesVISIA ® work?

The VISIA® Complexion Analysis System scans your skin and captures key visual information about its health and appearance. VISIA ® then analyses and measures the skin pigmentation, pore size, porphyrins (evidence of bacteria), UV spots, photo damage (typically from sun damage), texture and wrinkles. This data is then compared to other individuals of similar age, sex, skin type. This allows you to see how healthy your skin is relative to your peers. We then prepare your personal skin care regime and rejuvenation programme.

How long does VISIA® take?

Your VISIA ® analysis will take just a few minutes. Once complete, the review of your results and consultation will typically take from thirty minutes to an hour. We will focus on your specific problem areas and will be able to compare your results with your peers. Your analysis will also include your personal treatment recommendations.

How often do I need a VISIA Complexion Analysis?

As part of our Skincare Management Programme at Temple Aesthetics, we will undertake 2 VISIA® Complexion Analysis per year in order to monitor your skin condition and health. Your first analysis report will be the baseline from which we measure your progress. Depending on your skin condition, your goals and agreed treatment programme we will perform additional analysis as needed throughout your treatment programme

What makes VISIA® so good for my skin analysis?

The computer –controlled VISIA® ensures our ability to reproduce your facial photography at any time by using positioning aids and standardized lighting. VISIA® allows us to record standard, cross polarized (eliminates shine and reflection from skin surface) and UV photography. It facilitates the measurement of conditions both on the skin and beneath its surface. When needed, VISIA® also has a tool that lets us zoom in and magnify image areas fro closer examination and review of your skin. Once done, your report is customized for you in an easy to read format and will include recommendations for your skin care.

What should I do now?

It couldn’t be easier, just phone or email the clinic to make an appointment.
