Omnilux Revive : Light therapy that rejuvenates and revitalises tired skin. As we grow older, the cells that manufacture the skin’s supportive structures begin to slow down. Environmental damage from the suns rays speed up the process and produce free radicals that damage the skin and the cells that synthesize collagen and elastin.

Using Omnilux®  we are able to target specific cells in order to stimulate deeper skin tissue leading to a softening of fine lines, improved skin tone and super smooth skin. Increased blood flow also helps aid greater tissue oxygenation and detoxification.

The Omnilux ® Blue light stimulates the production of the body’s own chemicals and so eradicates the bacteria that cause the redness and inflammation of acne. The anti-inflammatory action of the light therapy helps minimise the redness of acne lesions and promote healthier skin

How long does the treatment take and how many sessions will I need?

Your first treatment will take 45 minutes however ongoing treatments will typically be 30 minute appointments, twice per week during which time light is administered for 20 minutes.

People with different skin types will benefit from differing treatment regimes therefore the amount of sessions required depends upon your individual treatment regime as recommended by your cosmetic doctor or medical aesthetician.

Is this treatment painful?

The treatment is safe, pain free and non-invasive and there is no recovery time. Make-up may be applied immediately afterwards.

Are there any possible side effects?

There have been no reported side effects. The scientifically designed light source does not contain harmful UVA or UVB and therefore cannot damage your skin. You will experience a feeling of relaxation and well-being during and after the treatment. The light works naturally with your body to promote the healing response. The goggles are only required for comfort since the lights are quite bright.

How  quickly will I see results?

The immediate effects are clearer brighter and a smoother complexion, even after the first treatment. The length of the course and skin type treated will also affect the results seen on fine lines, wrinkles and pigmentation.

How long will the results last?

This will vary according to skin type and lifestyle and whether you have combined Omnilux® with other treatments. Generally however, following a course of treatments you can expect to see an overall improvement in tone, clarity and skin smoothness as well as softening of fine lines and wrinkles.

91% of subjects in trials reported an improvement in their skin using Omnilux Revive® alone, 60% reported a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles and softer and smoother skin and 55% showed an improvement in skin firmness. Many also noticed an overall lifting and hydrating effect.

It should be noted that the results you see will continue to improve for up to 4 – 6 months after the course of treatment because Omnilux ReviveR) light therapy continues to stimulate natural cellular processes that rejuvenate the skin.

Monthly maintenance visits are recommended to maintain results.

How much can I expect to pay for treatment?

Single treatments cost £55 however for optimum results a course of treatments is recommended and discounted packages will apply.  It may also be recommended that you combine this treatment with other suitable treatments and this will be discussed fully at consultation.
